On Sunday an Afghanistan suicide bomber “rammed” into a United Nations convoy killing three people. It seems that the problems in foreign countries will never end. Not to say that we the United States don’t have our own ridiculous problems, but it seems that problems such as in Afghanistan are more drastic.
“This attack was on innocent civilians working only for the people of Afghanistan, and is beyond comprehension,” the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan said in a statement. There was also another separate bombing that killed six innocent children and wounded a total of 12. The article later states on how many deaths have occurred in Afghanistan in 2008 due to violence. The amount of deaths? 3,000. The highest total since 2001 and it’s still September.
Although this may have nothing to do with the war that our troops are currently dealing with, it goes to show you that some people out their have no mercy. This ultimately is the problem with most of these foreign countries that the U.S. invades, they believe that killing is the morally correct thing to do and that is scary.
Even at the end of the article there is mention of the amount of British troops that have died in Afghanistan since the U.S. invaded. 120. 120 more than there should have been I believe.
